| Since we are now incorporated and operating under new By-Laws, the November meeting has been designated as our Annual Corporate Meeting. All members must be notified in writing one month prior to the meeting. The meeting will be held at Murray Hall at the Botanical Garden at 11:30 a.m. on November 12. (Note time change due to Galaxy of Lights.) We will be electing new officers and directors at the meeting. Nominees are: President: Dottye Pierce Vice-President: Janet Boothe Secretary: Cyndia Montgomery Treasurer: Mary Ann Robinson Directors serving a three-year term (2010-2012): Marti Newlon and Kathie Bass Director serving a two-year term (2010-2011): Carol Umstaedter (to complete Betty Jarrell's term) The regular general meeting dates and programs are: February 12; Lasagna Gardening, Sue Bish March 12; Hostas, Susan Webb April; Plant Sale, no meeting May 14; Peonies, Mary Lou McNabb June; Tri-county picnic, no meeting July 9; Container Gardening, Allyson Schabel August 13; Bonsai Gardening, David Hayes September 10; TREASURE Forest, Dene Mathews October 8; Plant swap November 12; DVD presentation on Butchart Gardens, Mary Jane Reuman December 10; Christmas social, Faith Presbyterian Church All regular meetings will be held in Murray Hall at Huntsville Botanical Garden at 6:00 P.M., with the exception of November, which will a noon meeting at 11:30 A.M. |
