| In front of the Chevron station. First Gig Harbor exit, turn left, park in the QFC parking lot. Men stand on the opposite corner with signs. The group has grown from a handful of supporters to over 40. However, a pro-war religious-sponsored group has aggressively bullied us and tried to intimidate our group by "taking over" our corner. The local press coverage has been slanted. We stand in peaceful silence with candles, with a simple Women in Black sign. Women please wear black and stand in silent vigil. Bring a candle. It is traditional that the main group of women do not carry signs. |
