| We would like to announce our upcoming 3rd Annual Wine Tasting and Silent to Live Auction, a fundraiser for Ethel's Tree of Life (ETL). ETL is a nonprofit, serving youth and young adults who live with disabilities and/or special needs by providing transition training in life and work skills. Ethel's Tree of Life serves Southern York County and Seacoast New Hampshire. In 2009, ETL successfully ran a Summer Youth Employment Program through a grant of stimulus funds under the New Hampshire Department of Education, became a vendor for Maine's DHHS for children's services, hosted a Life Skills Trip to Old Quebec, and, offered Social Security's Ticket To Work Programming. ETL serves a vulnerable and at risk population, teaching skills for a successful transition into adult life. This year, for our auction, we have eight celebrity items, inclusive of a guitar signed by the Aerosmith Band, a Ringo Starr drum head, and an album signed by Bruce Springstein and the E Street Band. Many businesses contribute items, gift baskets, and gift certificates, and, Sweet Baby Vineyard of Kensington, NH will provide the wine tasting. The event runs from 6 to 9 P.M. at the Portsmouth Harborside Sheraton on Sunday November 8th and is sponsored by Bob's Clam Hut of Kittery and the Portsmouth Harborside Sheraton. Suggested donation is $35.00, which includes the wine tasting, hors dourves, and door prizes. Our goal is to raise $30,000.00 with the event!
