Face the World is a non-profit high school foreign exchange program. At this time, Face the World is looking for host families in Southern Maine to open their hearts and homes to an international high school student. These students will arrive in August to attend schools in your community. The students are 15-18 years of age, come with their own spending money and insurance, and are looking to spend a year in America improving their English and learning about our American culture. These students are a huge benefit to southern Maine and share their culture with us while they are here. They participate in school and community activities and are outstanding representatives of their countries. Host families can be couples with or without children at home, single parent families or grandparents. We ask that host families provide a bed, meals not served at school and a quiet place to study. Above all we ask that they provide love and care for these students. Open your heart, open your mind, smile big and Face the World!!
